Kaeli

Terms of Use

Last updated: September 14, 2026

These Terms govern your use of the Kaeli application and Kaeli Pro subscriptions. By using Kaeli, you agree to these Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.

1. About Kaeli

Kaeli is a grocery inventory, shopping-list, recipe, and household-sharing application operated by Avidan Hassine.

Contact: kaeliapp@outlook.com.

2. Acceptable use

You may use Kaeli only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:

3. Your content

You retain your rights in content and information that you create or add to Kaeli, subject to the rights and licenses required for Kaeli to provide the service.

When you use sharing functionality, you are responsible for choosing what to share and with whom. You should not share information through Kaeli that you do not have the right to share.

4. CloudKit sharing

Kaeli uses Apple CloudKit to provide applicable synchronization and sharing functionality. When you share content, other participants in the relevant CloudKit share may be able to access the information you choose to share.

Kaeli cannot guarantee that another participant will keep information you share confidential. Choose sharing participants carefully.

5. Online recipes and images

Kaeli may provide access to online recipe and image search functionality through third-party services, including Tasty through RapidAPI and Brave Search API.

Third-party search results may contain content that is inaccurate, unavailable, inappropriate, copyrighted, or subject to third-party terms. Kaeli does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, availability, or suitability of third-party content.

Recipes and nutritional or food-related information displayed through third-party services are provided for general informational and cooking purposes. Kaeli does not provide medical, nutritional, allergy, or dietary advice.

You are responsible for checking ingredients, allergens, quantities, preparation instructions, food-safety requirements, and dietary suitability before preparing or consuming food.

6. Kaeli Pro subscriptions

Kaeli Pro is an optional auto-renewable subscription that may provide access to features including online image search, online recipe discovery, and sharing functionality.

Available subscription periods may include:

Prices are displayed in the app and are determined by the applicable App Store product and storefront.

7. 14-day free trial

Where offered and where you are eligible, a Kaeli Pro subscription may include a 14-day free trial.

The trial is governed by the terms of the applicable Apple App Store subscription product. Unless cancelled before the end of the trial period, the subscription will automatically renew into the paid subscription at the applicable price.

Eligibility for introductory offers may be determined by Apple and may depend on your previous use or purchase of the applicable subscription.

8. Automatic renewal and cancellation

Your Kaeli Pro subscription automatically renews unless you cancel it sufficiently before the end of the current subscription period or trial period, as applicable.

You can manage or cancel an App Store subscription through your Apple account's subscription settings. Deleting the Kaeli app does not necessarily cancel an App Store subscription.

Apple's current subscription terms, billing procedures, refund policies, and applicable storefront rules also apply to purchases made through the App Store.

9. Payments and refunds

Payments for Kaeli Pro subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. Kaeli does not receive or store your payment-card number.

Refunds for App Store purchases are subject to Apple's policies and procedures. Kaeli does not independently control Apple's payment or refund systems.

10. Intellectual property

Kaeli, including its software, interface, branding, logos, original text, and other original materials, is owned by or licensed to Avidan Hassine and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, sublicense, or create derivative works from Kaeli except as permitted by law or with permission.

11. Third-party services

Kaeli depends on third-party services, including Apple/iCloud/CloudKit, RevenueCat, RapidAPI/Tasty, and Brave Search API. Those services may have their own terms, policies, availability limits, and requirements.

Kaeli is not responsible for outages, changes, removal of content, rate limits, pricing changes, or other failures of third-party services outside Kaeli's reasonable control.

12. Availability

We aim to keep Kaeli available and functional, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Features may change, be temporarily unavailable, or be discontinued.

13. No warranty

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Kaeli is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties except those that cannot legally be excluded.

We do not guarantee that Kaeli will meet every requirement, operate without interruption, or produce completely accurate results from third-party recipe, image, or search services.

14. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Avidan Hassine will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of Kaeli, including loss of data, interruption of service, or reliance on third-party content.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law.

15. Food safety and dietary information

Kaeli is not a substitute for professional medical, nutritional, allergy, or food-safety advice. Online recipes and product information can contain errors. Always independently verify ingredients, allergens, preparation temperatures, storage requirements, and suitability for your circumstances.

16. Changes to Kaeli or these Terms

We may modify Kaeli, its features, subscription offerings, or these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be published on this page. Continued use of Kaeli after an update becomes effective constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by applicable law.

17. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to Kaeli where reasonably necessary to address abuse, security issues, unlawful use, or other violations of these Terms, subject to applicable law.

Termination of access to Kaeli does not automatically cancel an App Store subscription. Subscription cancellation must be handled through Apple's subscription management system.

18. Governing law

These Terms are intended to be interpreted under the laws applicable to the relationship between you and Avidan Hassine, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights or other laws that cannot be waived by agreement.

If you obtained Kaeli through Apple's App Store, you acknowledge that these Terms are between you and Avidan Hassine, not Apple, except where Apple's terms separately apply to your use of the App Store and App Store services.

Apple is not responsible for Kaeli, its content, maintenance, support, or warranty obligations. Apple is not responsible for addressing claims relating to Kaeli except to the extent required by Apple's applicable terms.
